Plant stem cells (aka phyto-stem cells or meristimal cells) in hair care products and hair loss therapy combine scientific advances and the power of nature. Only a few stem cells are needed to restore the whole plant, as they synthesize cells of any tissue. Malus Domestica stem cells are derived from the Uttwiler Spätlauber, a rare Swiss apple variety. These stem cells are rich in epigenetic factors and metabolites. Our apple stem cells extract has been shown to protect the scalp at the cellular level, while also delaying the ageing of hair follicles –  a research-proven 2 × reduction of fibrosis of the follicles.

The stem cell extract first enters the hair follicle through topical application. The extract penetrates the bulb within the hair follicle and assures growth support to the hair root. Dormant follicles will receive the extract and rejuvenate, resulting in new hair growth.
