ABOUT THE PROJECT

As a brand deeply invested in art, Valdoré has collaborated with Hadrien Dussoix, a modern award-winning Swiss artist. Hadrien studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the Haute Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Geneva and has received multiple awards, including the Swiss Art Award in Basel for three consecutive years.

Currently based in Geneva, his works are showcased in museums (e.g., Musée Ariana in Geneva) and private collections, such as Swiss Post. Valdoré has invited Hadrien Dussoix to explore new dimensions of packaging design. This experimental partnership seeks to contemplate the essence of aesthetics and beauty, reimagining Valdoré's classical style in unexpected ways.

What do you think about the Valdoré brand and its aesthetics? Why was it interesting for you to collaborate with Valdoré on its limited-edition packaging design?

I think it's important to note that Valdoré embodies both classic elegance and luxurious sophistication. Its logo is beautifully crafted, and the overall design is truly magnificent, exuding a timeless charm that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. As a Swiss artist, I find it very rewarding to collaborate with a Swiss brand like Valdoré. When it involves classics, it becomes even more interesting for me—it is intriguing to create something unique, maybe even provocative.
